Microdermabrasion
Therapeutic resurfacing technology
designed for all skin types, including skin affected by
sun-damage, acne, and the elements of time, restoring
smooth texture and softness with remarkable
clarity.
The skin’s repair mechanism is
triggered to produce healthy epidermal tissue growth,
improving skin tone and elasticity. You will look
healthier and rejuvenated immediately.
Treatment is
most effective when taken in consecutive
treatments. Consultation required. 60
minute session
What is
it?
Microdermabrasion is one of the most
preventative and corrective treatments for all skin
types available. It is a quick, safe, and
effective form of exfoliation for all skin types and
colours with no down-time and virtually no
discomfort. It has been available in Europe since
the late 1980s.
Its results are
achieved by the use of Inert Corundum Aluminum Oxide
Mineral Micro Crystals that remove dead or damaged skin
cells. Skin will appear softer, smoother,
brighter, clearer, fresher and younger looking.

For? It is

-
Fine lines and wrinkles.
-

What are
the advantages of
Microdermabrasion?
This treatment
is meant to be progressive, not aggressive.
Generally, results are more noticeable after the third
treatment. Although after the first session the
skin will appear fresher, cleaner, smoother and softer,
the treatment is usually performed every 7-10 days or
every 2 weeks for a series of 6 treatments.
Maintenance treatments are suggested every 1 to 1½
months.
Can Microdermabrasion and
Anti-Aging Treatment be
Combined? Combining
Microdermabrasion with micro-current treatments, such as
Anti-Aging Treatment, will achieve great results in all
skin layers: Epidermis, Dermis, and Hypodermis (facial
muscles). Micro-currents stimulate and re-educate facial
muscles producing a non-surgical face lift.
How should the skin be treated
after a treatment of
Microdermabrasion? In the first 48
hours, apply hydrating products regularly and as often
as necessary. If the skin is red or irritated for
the first 24 hours, one should only use calming products
only on the skin, as well as creams or
serums.
During the 3rd
and 4th days following the Microdermabrasion treatment,
the skin may begin to peel, and one may choose to
perform a mild exfoliation once a day to aide in the
removal of the dead cells. This mild exfoliation
may to be repeated continuously for a few days depending
on the amount of dead cells that must be removed.
Avoid Saunas, Swimming Pools, whirlpools, as well as all
sun exposure and tanning salons.
During the 1st
week, the client should continue to avoid all sun
exposure and tanning salons, and continue the use of
hydrating serum and cream.
Advice A client should
not apply any products that contain essential oils or
other ingredients which may irritate the skin even
further.
As well, not
using products with AHA and Retinol during the complete
process of Microdermabrasion will burn the
skin.
